Kidsource Kids 5K helps raise funds for community projects, scholarships for our hippotherapy program, and playground equipment for children with special needs. It is a fun run/walk family event. Awards are given to the top 3 finishers in each age group. This is not a certified race. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash.
There is a Tot-Trot dash/ wheelchair race following the 5k race that is an untimed separate race for children under the age of 5 and/or children with disabilities. Each Tot-Trot participant receives a unique participation award! In addition we also offer fun activities such as face painting, craft tables, bounce house and much much more.
The success of our race is in thanks to donations and sponsorships which are available in multiple levels. Past sponsors include: Kinco Construction, Orthotics at Home, Commerce Title, KidSource Therapy, PestMasters, Maverick Transportation, TCBY, Go! Running, and many more.
Past locations include Hurricane Lake Estates in Benton as well as Two Rivers Park along the Arkansas River in Little Rock. We hope to continue to offer a variety of activities as well as locations in the future years to come.
