Who We Are
Kidsource Family Services is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which strives to create opportunities for children with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that all children have a chance to enjoy activities like attending a fall festival, taking an art class, or getting a picture made with Santa Claus.
By empowering kids, we also empower communities to promote inclusion for special needs children and their families.
What We Do
Kidsource Family Services hosts a number of events and community outings designed to provide a fun, safe time for our kids to learn new things and feel included in their community.
During community outings, our kids can practice everyday living skills at the zoo, museum, bowling alley, or restaurant. We also set up special learning opportunities throughout the year, like learning how to make dog biscuits at a boutique dog shop.
We also host various events throughout the year, many of which we tailor to a child’s specific needs, such as Sensory Santa.
Developmental Therapy
Developmental therapy consists of natural yet therapeutic interventions in a child’s daily routines, focusing on the areas of cognition, communication, social-emotional skills, behavior, and motor skills
First Connections
First Connections is a state-wide, comprehensive early intervention network of qualified, dedicated professionals that families of infants and toddlers with special needs can turn to for information, support, and services to help their child reach their full potential.
Kidsource is proud to be the largest First Connections provider in the state and provide due process.
